prelim 1 is finally over. rather screwed for some papers like ss (nvr finish 2nd qn's conclusion), the 3 sciences and english. ah well we will get to know how screwed we r after having fun and break in CNY.

trying to get inspiration for essay writing again... got off to a bad start in the morning as i learnt of the news tt both arsenal and ac milan suffered defeats.. sad case man.. anyway last week training was rather fun... tried to stretch myself again during PT. ran 12 rnds (gah, lesser than n land), did chin-ups, sit-ups(new record) and pumping. pumpings are getting weaker and weaker for me.. i guess u can only train pumpings in groups rather than individually. u will only get motivated when there are people pumping wif u! =)

during rt played soccer again! wohoo. 4 goals in 2 games! beat that lol. but kh and melvin's goals were nice as well.. come on man, we muz try to do well both in academics and playing! (but of course mugging will take the front seat for tis yr)... let the mugging spree begin.

bad start... bad start to a new and important yr. got b3 for chinese, so i guess will dropping hcl.. cant take too much of a risk. few of us decided to focus more on improving our current results. for others who want to continue, gd luck for hcl!

on a lighter note, yesterday's training was fun though i was late for it due to history remedial. ran 7 rnds, so i currently owe only 6 more rnds. wohoo. but was rather slow again. timing was 11.50 and as wad dao liang say "u can go die!" wth, muz improve to 9+ tis yr. gogogo! afterwards did sit up and pull-ups. crap another drop in standard, pull-ups only managed 8 but sit-ups did 60 in a min. finally managed to hit 60 in a min.

rt was soccer, which was pretty cool. scored a hat-trick! which was even coooler. after trng did a bad thing... i actually pang ken and toh hong lol. bad boy.

come on man, lets go mugging! cant afford to put more time on this place anymore. its time ta mug!

i hv finally finish reading the Asterix Series after like 4 yrs... 4 yrs of laughter, not bad though marcus and zi wei shuld have taken a relatively shorter time i guess.

then o level will be looming ahead, from wad others said, it will be held and pushed even earlier. everything now sounds and seems so fast-paced. so cherish the time left in Secondary School, coz we will soon say ciao to it.. sigh..

Class Chalet, Camp Pinnacle

juz came back from camp pinnacle yesterday. though it wasnt tough, i slept for 4 hrs straight after lunch.

Chalet was awesome!! lol. 1st day went to meet up with certain awesome ppl at macs in j8 b4 proceeding to boarding the train. at the end of the journey, funny things occurred. as expected with the awesome pair of Yong Yi and Ken.

then got into the chalet and then played bridge. had already forgot the rules and play, and had to make Zi Wei and azzac reteach. sorry! after which was pretty much eating.. woah it was seriously fulling. until 11pm was still eating. though in btween went to try and rent bike. but failed. so there goes another chance of learning how to cycle. sad case. went back to play mahjong till the 2nd day. after breakfast at macs, went to sleep. shaun as well.. but when i woke up.. tt neh neh sms me and bade farewell.. wth pang me after promising to go home together at 2nd nite.. zzz.

so 2nd day was pretty much lan then. the bad memory and noobiness of me caused my team to be owned rather badly in the 1st game of dota. 2nd game was much better but still lost. all the while ah ken was playing l4d. then switched to CS where ken, keefe, kian hee and gabriel owned. i was juz average. bleahh. bade farewell to the awesome guys after dinner. couldnt stay much longer than tt.

Camp Pinnacle was not as bad as i thought it would be. managed to know new friends again. Everyone was surprised with the relaxing in-processing. we got to stay within the same district as platoon lvl! so vincent and i was sticking much together. occasionally with lenz and daryl. daryl seriously look like bryan ong lol. then there were other tt look awesomely like some ppl that we happen to know. somebody looked freakishly like jonathan. dun ask further, later jon come find me 算账. there was ben and some other dude who look like nat ho as well. other than tt our platoon were lacking much in chinese. others were keeping much to themselves.

so 1st day went off to SISPEC again. proceeded on to the Survival Village. wouldnt divulge any further. juz tt wad we saw and witnessed were pretty cool. in between the intervals, vincent and i were playing A-Z naming games. so managed to breeze through the day. obviously i owned him much. but he was to have his revenge on the 4th day...

2nd day went onboard the c-130. again... in between managed to get lenz and daryl hooked up to the A-Z game. though they adopted a rather different version. afternoon was juz the visiting of flight simulators and RSAF museum . saw lenz's father photo. he was some dua pai in the RSAF. oh i forogt to mention, all the 1st 3 nites were used for preparing camp pinnacle nite.

3rd day was the visit to the Seletar Base: SYFC. ah ken shuld probably be seeing it quite often in the future if nth goes wrong in his plans lol. their only plane offered was Piper Warrior. Despite the lack of choice. its still awesome. after all u will get to fly a real plane at the age of 16-18 based on ur lvl of skill. started out on movies and harry poopoo A-Z. then we had a propaganda talk by the SAF personnel. judging by the others' response, there are lots who are looking to army as career. uuhhh... no comment.

4th day will be the last nite in the HQ! wohoo and it would also be Camp Pinnacle Nite. in the morning boarded the bus to Changi Naval Base. couldnt get my usual sleep due to some ' pretty and sweet' gal, dun ask further. went up in the Frigate and LST. the navy do serve great food. lucky fellas. wouldnt mind joining them in NS. but obviously i will nt tink of signing on, though who noes? (but i hope not) vincent and i went out of sports topic and started out on pokemon. but my knowledge was pretty limited since i only went up to gold and silver version as i couldnt stand the emerald, ruby and sapphire shit that brought the fun out of pokemon. the bloody new ones looked like aliens and robots! probably due to ideas from US. eeeuuhhhh...
nite time was smth like a finale. Camp Pinnacle Nite was awesome and great. at 1st i thought it will be a bore. but almost every group put up awesome performances. though jun yuan and joel's were rather boring lol. but the gay impersonation by aaron was damn zai. i was laughing in tears lol. there was a surprise activity juz b4 lights out. would have been great if they didnt restrict so much areas and had so many ppl involved.

5th day was juz cleaning up b4 certificate presentation. overall the camp was ok, though the mealtimes are always spicy affairs. and i have a weak throat that couldnt withstand much. was doing pretty well for the 1st 4 days. but the moment i woke up on the fifth. i could feel that smthing was wrong with my throat. ah well. oh and we had an awesome sir as our PC as well, Sir Hariz. though he was not fantastic in certain areas (as he admitted himself), he was incredible for other aspects. thoroughly earned all our respect. it has been a long time since the last time i typed such a long post as well..

juz realised smth else as well. the day i changed my mp3 wallpaper from theirry henry to iori, he was subsequently involved in the handball scandal. coincidence huh? mayb i juz change iori's wallpaper to smth else, who knows?! last official school day of sec 3. the title and name of 'sec 4s' does seem very heavy and stressful. well, it would at least give those ppl who want to mug their brains out, a chance to fulfill their fullest potential. cca is coming close to an end soon, even the SLBs.

speaking of finishing the last day of school for sec 3, it would b the last day for quite a few teachers as well.. hmm tis seems to be a yr whereby the amt of teachers leaving the school is the most. and surprisingly we even know b4 hand unlike past few yrs. rumours are spreading like wildfire as to the rationale behind such movements. ah well, even if the student body does know, we cant do much can we?

even though it was the official last day of school for 2009, it would not be the case for most of the sec 3s. sad isnt it?

whats up ppl! today was damn slack and relaxing. almost whole cohort was out in the open playing.. and as always after such a hectic and mugging period, my fitness lvl had dropped... sad isnt it? play like 1h + then got abit of a cramp, muscles hardening. intended to rest quite awhile then rejoin back. but they were KOed when i returned. nowhere to b seen!

then after tt was some leaps talk, and it got me thinking again. only a few more trainings left and still have ppl having the unconcerned and spastic attitude. sigh.. oh yea i got a feeling tt next week will b the last official week of school tis yr as well, though script checking is next week. we shall see

lol i mean ST. i was surprised when he was absent on wed. i thought he dedicated his life to mugging and studying! especially on a day with his favourite papers. anyway finished Term 3 Common Test liao.. which was onerous and exhausting... quite a no. of papers were difficult and extra... imagine bio having graph when its only 45mins... it was like 2 graphs somemore... and i nvr finish chem... the chem paper kinda sucked man. the MCQs are already such a challenge...

back from spec course. it wasnt tt bad... well juz gonna list some highlights of it:

1. Wei Sheng, Vincent, Dong Hong and i got into the same platoon!

2. During the night, the 4 of us shared 2 beds on the upper decker of the bunk beds.

3. None of us fell off! (miracle, especially for me)

4. Wei Sheng added on to his troubles! (he juz cant get enuf of them)

5. Low Wei Jie got Best in Platoon! (kinda expected, since he so bloody enthu)

6. And we all got promoted from the pint-sized rank of corporals to Sgts! (not bad eh)

so tts all folks. crap i am finding it hard to maintain tis man.. might juz close it down anytime.

some of the Mid-Yr papers were returned for script checking and the marks tt i got were simply disgusting and horrendous... so Mid-Yr is pretty much screwed for me... english is like getting worse and worse... while chinese was the 1 tt managed to cheer me up marginally... but its not considering much since my expectations for chinese is so bloody low... argh messed up paper 1 as well...

things are going to get more and more busy... and i juz hope tt the other papers will get better for me... haiz... at the current rate going... i can only see a bleak and blur 'A'...

yesterday was kinda depressing.. though PE did cheered me up a little as it has been ages since i played soccer.. assisted the 2 goals.. not bad lah... though outnumbered by 3-7, we still won lol.

then after school was almost shocked out of myself as Mrs Ling called me... oh well.. she had agreed to let us go on thursday... but then yesterday she seemed to have changed her mind... but by tt time some of us already changed and XK had went off to get the cake... haiz...

then during training i was quite nervous and sad throughout... Melancholy... and then arnd 5.15, the NCOs tossed their berets into the air... becoming our seniors, having passed out... insecure? yea..

well i would like to thank our seniors for all they have done for us...

We were lucky to have Staff Yong Hwee as our UDI, for his superb skills in controlling and handling us, knowing when to be strict and when to joke with us.
We were lucky to have Staff Yu Cheng, for his help to us in every area we needed, he was sort of like a UDI to us too..
We were lucky to have Staff Wei Xuan as our PTI, he was the 1 who raised our physical standards to such a high lvl, especially during the Feb period.. we manage to pump so much in 1 shot and still run 10+ rnds.
We were lucky to have MSG Wei Kit and Staff Hui Yang for their teachings on PDS, if not for them, we wouldnt have 2 AIs.
We were lucky to have Staff Yong Liang for his advice on everything.Orienteering and Shooting, though my shooting kinda sucked.
We were lucky to have Sgt Bryan Seah, for his jokes and humour which brought life into training, no matter how sick they are.
We were lucky to have Sgt Rong Xuan, for his ensuring of all our welfare.
We were lucky to have Sgt Garry Mag, for his help and advice in everything. (He was like a friend to a few of us.)
And Last of all, we were lucky to have Sgt Major Benedict, for his great leadership of the unit in bringing us to such great heights!

There are others who have done much for the unit too, but i dun noe them tt well,

first week of school after march holidays so fast got class test... and today is juz the start of it... in juz the 1st 2 weeks after march holidays, we are like having 5 class tests... (provided tt u take same humans and classes as me) and mid-year is juz in abt 5 weeks time? from wad we had heard, they are simply the killers...

well today was an eventful and packed day.. with so many things happening... had to run 2.4 during PE after like dunno how long nvr run.. argh i was deprived of my 3rd 10mins+ timing by 10 secs... how sad... and as expected JY had improved alot and ran 10.30. however despite the ok timing tt we got, it came at a price... he had stomache and so nvr go for his beloved PT while i had ankle ache.. haha... then after school still got training then continue running during PT... the warm-up was rather hiong.. the effects only come in after a few more mins... was shocked tt i struggled to do a sit-up during circuit at the starting! ah well in the end still managed it through distorted faces of pain.

on fridays, our class always seemed to be the last to be dismissed... and arnd recess that time is so rushed and hiong... then always make me and JY chiong to canteen then quickly eat... (since we are always arnd the slowest during SPA) it was a mentally and physically drained day.. such tt i slept during maths lesson! although it was a free period and almost half of the class was sleeping too lol...

and i realise chinese teachers can really forget practically abt the time when they teach? haha.. seems as though it has always been the case... today had chinese remedial and it went on until arnd 3.30 when she say it shuld start at 12.30 and end at 2. lol, it did start at 12.30, though i was late for like 5 mins, but it ended almost 2 hrs later haha... i tink Yuan Lao Shi would have done the same too... though not giving any promise or stating of time.. hehe smart? nvrtheless nvm, the way Ms W teach also not bad, even though she teach very long, u dont feel as though the time is dragging and going on slowly.. for some reason, even during her lesson it seems very rushed despite the fact that she doesnt go out of the intended point or topic..

so monday is chinese oral exam, feeling nervous? yea, for some reason, i am nvr calm when there is oral exams, even though some others might beg to differ. this is gonna be like the worse holiday... up till now only, i am sure in the near future, it can only get worse. homework is damn bloody much, and have to come back to school on 4 days? with 1 or 2 being like a full school day. haiz..

(always thought tt knot tying would b the most important part) anyway they said i sleepwalk in the morning of the last day... or almost... i tink they are pulling my leg... say i wake up and ask nicky butt for powder then spam on myself... yea right.. i qn VG abt it repeatedly and he was struggling to smile and laugh... signs of lying...

and then back to school.. bad start to chemistry... physics not much better either... the chem was full of stupid mistakes... haiz... and now we are bombed by homework once again...

our class had two SPAs today b4 and after recess...so the recess was damn chiong... and then the SPA worksheets all like only did our table of values all those kind... then the structured qns all nvr do... but luckily all the teachers only require us to hand up after school... unlike Sec 2 or Sec 1 whereby it must b handed straight after the lesson itself... and today both SPAs also not bad lah.

then after school had training which was almost entirely PT... it was quite good... feels quite like OT training... juz tt it was better in a sense tt there was no timing (but the speed also quite fast, juz tt OT was almost like sprinting every round)... but worse as we pumped at least 50 after every like 2-4 rnds mostly due to the inconsistent rain... so ran 14 rounds and there was a time when we stopped after a few rnds to pump 100 b4 continuing another 4... there was a lot of pumping and i couldnt help but feel as though i was a pumping machine then... there wasnt much signs of aching or any other things, with only hardened muscles, but juz continue to pump and pump, and all were quite standard! after all the pumpings and running was circuit which i still manage to do 5 pull-ups! by then i could feel my leg and arm muscles were bulging.weeee! and so i have a feeling tt i would get to 10 mins again for at least a 2.4 run tis year, and hopefully beat my previous record. hopefully...

after training got our Total Defence silver badge... juz in time for me i guess... i broke my yesterday... then went home and KOed after dinner! juz simply lied down and dozed off.. long time nvr KO almost straightaway liddat liao since like the last OT.

although it has been seemingly quite short, but the time has been quite enjoyable... mainly due to the fact tt all the OALs were quite nice... though there are a couple of extra 1s... i dun mean those who slacked... after all which OAL nvr slack b4 for any period of time? so last prj gonna be the next sec 2 camp... the Burst camp was damn slack for the sec 1s... no drills no PT no nth... only initiation mass and sleeping for them....the whole camp is like only 15 hrs... not even 1 full day... nvm...

but the OALs from our class quite heng... nvr miss any lessons to go down at 1.50 p.m as we had Bio SPA... :) we cant really afford to miss anymore lessons... then at night did homework from 1 am to 3 am... before finally sleeping at arnd 3.40... at arnd 7.30 went to bathe then come back to class to find my whole compre and summary paper gone! which i left on my table... only the summary draft is left there... damn shocked... i have been doing it from 1 am to 3 am for nth?!! then luckily during 1st lesson zw returned me... or i would have been staying up during the night for nth... next time anybody want to borrow anything from me, plz ask me or use it at my place! dun bring back to urs... plz!

jialat.... its only the 2nd week of Sec 3 life... but it feels as though the Final Year Exams are already coming! the homework is damn a lot.... past few days have been sleeping at 1+ am slogging out the homework... but it seems as though there are endless of them! i made them sound like monsters.... lol... haiz... and today i finally finished all my homework...(past few days had teachers forgetting to collect or extending deadline) quite relieved and happy... then pop out out a 听写... nvm did alright for it... yesterday was almost the worst... there was 2 letter writings to b handed up today, 1 HCL, 1 english, another chinese compre and maths ws.... all to b handed in today.... and there was BURST yesterday! then after tt still got tuition... almost died trying to complete all... but i managed it after all! only tt the english letter writing did on this morning... (sheepish)

and after we came back from OAL Sec 2 camp, all of us were blur abt maths... we only missed 1 lesson yet it seemed as though Mr JT had gone through a few days' worth of lessons! it was on surds... haiz.. gotta catch up soon... and theere is hw again today... so i doubt i would appear on9 or post much more... mayb occasional 1s.... juz tt today lucky got 1 maths ws and a chinese compo nia... the latter being required to b handed up on next week :) Mentally Exhausted!

tts my new record no. of rotations... haha but VG still holds the most no. of rotations... 92... zai... either him or RC gonna b the 1st 1 in our part to break 100. lol. YES! can do Rotation Arm ler... but only still 9 rnds... the standard amount tt Staff WK wanted from us... i dun dare do beyond 10... coz i bound to drop.. (at the moment) haha... and the speed of it has at least increase! last training was super slow... but now still like slower than the standard by abit...and VG currently holds the record for the most no. of rotation in our part :35! lol i was like counting how many he do... expecting him to drop at arnd 20, but instead he continued and went on and on!

then Vincent Toss managed to complete the whole drill like only 2 times... zz... my ending always cant flick out properly.. so cant really catch... sad... and TH managed to b the 1st and only 1 to b able to do the drill completely most of the time tt he attempted it.. 不愧是 AI....

but today nvr managed to run 2.4... was planning to run b4 training... since tt time is the best time of the day to do so.... but got stomache and went to toilet do big business... come out they already take dummy rifles out... so no choice... next time muz come earlier to do...

woah 2nd PDS training in the holidays, and the performance is already arnd finalised! and there is still like 3 weeks b4 the performance! the NDP 1 was only like finalised 2 days b4 the performance itself. tis goes to show how efficient our 2 new AIs and seniors are. but mayb still might have some changes or some adding in of stunts and the ending part... (the more advanced 1s)... but other than tt, more or less already finalised!

LWJ was damn funny... dunnoe why he listen to PDS songs always bouncing abt...lol smth during the tryout also keep bouncing to the beats.... then JC tried to copy him... lol he went 1 step further... he did it damn vigorously and with the fake-smile on his face... then bouncing left and to the right... haha it was a comical scene...

so after training went to eat lunch b4 finally playing soccer! wheee! oh and during lunch tt time saw Senior WL... i was as tall as him! i thought he was quite tall... (as compared to me) so after tt went soccer... damn bloody rusty... especially my right foot... instead my weaker foot was even better than my preferred 1... so sad... only the 5 of us play.... we thought IL and KH might be able to join us... but haix only the few of us...nvm, at least got to play!

learnt new drill today for PDS... T3H...looks nice when executed perfectly.... but we cant do it perfectly, YET.... my same old problem again... instead of tossing i transfer... then when i really try tossing always drop to the floor... and in auditorium somemore... so the sound is even more obvious and ringing... then drop until got a bit crack.... so we went out to the grass patch and practise... lol RY's piece of advice is useful... but then still i couldnt do it properly... haiz sad... then go to auditorium dun really dare to do tossing... juz transfer... VG can do the tosses like nobody's business... then of all drills he choose to perfect is Sungfoo... not tt bad either... mayb a bit stiff... but he make T3H look so easy.... eee....

haha and our 2 AI damn zai... they went to count the number of beats in the song they chose! abit siao... but nvrtheless admirable... they say the song is arnd 3.30 mins? and 420 beats... lol heard tt they took like 1 hr to do the counting... tt means 1 whole hr listen to the same song all over and over again... then still nid double check...

neh de... today is like 1 of the worst training i ever had... i repeat is "myself" only... did IPPT... and mine results suck... sad case... Sit and reach once again did me in...didnt excel in it b4... but little did i expect such gd results for SBJ while such atrocious timing for 2.4...

broke my record for my worst ever 2.4 timing... frustrated? yea... 14 mins... nvr had i gotten 14 b4... the worst was 13.30... which was when i 1st ran my 2.4 in sec 1... ever since nvr really looked back..and kept maintaining it at least arnd 12... then now drop to 14? haiz... sit up did until my limit.... shuld have listen to Staff YH and stop at arnd 40... but no... i did until 59... then run 2.4 stomach ached... it felt like rubbing acid at my stomach... 1st time so jialat... nvr try b4 and now i noe how it feels to do too much sit-ups and then run 2.4... but not much excuse either...

but then our drills not bad... no timing for whole training... well any timer would have died under tt weather i guess... better buck up! tink if got chance mayb go for all 3 sessions to run abit and practise... hope tt nth much pops up then...

every thing is coming to an end.... signaling the start of a new beginning... a beginning to our doom... lol... well its close enuf to being compared to doom... well juz watched Survivor Gabon 'Last Eden'... then realized tt next epi already finale... lag ah. dun blame me.. my 1st time watching a season... same thing for amazing race season 13 too... which juz ended a few days back.. winner of amazing race 13 was expected... but survivors will be quite unpredictable.. unless the challenges ahead requires physique... so every thing is almost coming to an end... sad? yea... and the new beginning is juz gonna signal the start of new and even more difficult and strenous challenges.. sad life... but we juz have to get on with it...

OAL Camp

back from OAL camp.. after the AIC i was already sunburnt... but now even more shiok... lol... the skin of my hands already coming out :) for tis post i tink i gonna use real names...

everybody came at 7.30a.m(all except for 1 haha) and then we gathered in our groups to plan our route to Changi Coast Adventure Centre (CCAC)... when we gonna set off, they confiscate our maps... sad case... even last yr they got their maps with them all along...nvm so we set off at arnd 8.30. oh and i was in group 4, with the teacher in charged being Mr Han... while our ICs were Johnervan and irwin... (weird thing was we nid nt address them as ICs...)

during the journey we nid to play scissors paper stone so many times to decide where would we go... and everytime without fail, we lost... omg... out of 5 0r 6 times, we were trashed 3-0 straight by our ICs and Mr Han...so we always had to backtrack or turn left or right instead of going straight as we had planned... and there also some scenarios tt we had to overcome... for example some grp members being kidnapped... lol i was the 1st to b kidnapped... but Johnervan's attempts failed terribly lol... coz i made noise... Clayton told me to make noise mah if i tio kidnapped. haha. tts why he appointed me and ivan as last men... but after tt the ICs changed our positions... so sad... then Angus tio "kidnapped" we also nvr noticed...

we walked along Braddel Rd, Bartley Road, Paya Lebar, Airport Rd, Bedok North, Simei and Tanah Merah, Expo then Changi... quite cool we got to walk along the expressways twice... and we got to experience smt tt i doubt the previous batches had b4... walking in the haevy rain.... it was damn refreshing.. instead of hindering our Land Expedition, i tink it actually helped us alot... ok not our bags and outfit... we were thoroughly drenched and our bags were completely wet... as we were reaching the campsite, our ICs forced some of us to become "casualties" and be carried by our friends... so Kai Rong was made to carry me into the campsite... sry Kai Rong!

so we were the 1st team to arrive, followed by Mr Chew's grp.. the 2 Mr Goh's grps came by bus... we were like damn shocked luhhh... i thought they would nvr do tt... after tis shuldnt be name as Land Expedition for nth...but they say the were like stranded at Bedok Reservoir.. so as we got to the campsite at arnd 7(coz we had to stay in shelter for like 1hr), we managed to bath 1st while waiting for the other grps to arrive...

then at arnd 8 was dinner, which was followed by reflections... then lights out..

next day was like juz kayaking... Morning PT was not bad for both days... not tt hiong... nor was it like too slack or easy... then the Sea Expedition at the start was not tt particularly pleasant... in fact it was quite bad... for the water confidence test for our PFDs.. i guessed everybody forgot abt the ledge and everybody juz banged into it.. wa damn pain... i knew immediately sure have bruise de.. but little would i expect tt it would bleed! omg.. everybody was like bleeding.. especially Jian Hong... but nvm we thought not much of tt.. and endured the pain.. but then when we went out into the sea, Mr Goh KY made us keep rafting up and talk damn long.. so quite a number of us got seasick, me included.. so i tink a few ppl reported sick and headed back shore to rest.. while the rest of us continued on. then after lunch i got much better and switch my partner to nicholas... and we went super fast! lol we became 1st... from the last few b4 lunch to 1st not bad not bad... but being 1st is not our priority so also not much use... the weakest link of a team is the strength of the team...lol Mr Goh's favourite line during the sea expedition...

as we were reaching the campsite, our paddles got confiscated by Mr Goh as we were too fast, so we nvr heard any instructions tt they were passing down...sad... so we had to paddle with our hands for a while..lol quite cool.. so we managed to came back to the campsite arnd 3. we gotta bathe after tt and then it was the planning of BURST Camp or Sec 2 camp.. at 7 had dinner... which was followed by reflections again... i shant say certain activities.. then tt night our bunk was filled with sick jokes.. eeeekkkk.

then next day nth much except fer belaying.. but we muz remember the steps..if not next time die liao.. so at arnd 2p.m break camp... tis camp i muz thank Johnervan, Irwin and Zong Da.. as they had helped me alot :) if not, the camp wouldnt have been so smooth for the whole lot of us.

finally! i am back! from the 2nd ever AIC held.. whew... b4 the course i was abit doubting myself whether can pass it anot.. and especially after the 1st day of the camp... Sir Alvin seriously shattered my confidence... nvm he shattered our whole flying circle's confidence... until like almost the end of the flying session for the 1st day... and yay me! got 2 new badges now :) lol got the new 1 tt only the current Part A's have also.

throughout the whole course, the daytime and sunlight was like damn precious... we were always flying during the daytime, non-stop until the sun sets... so it was like morning fly, 12 noon lunch, then fly again until 6, then dinner, afterwhich was always the tests... b4 the whole course started, they were trying to intimidate us.... like trying to say tt the passing mark was like damn high.. but in the end they moderated the Basic Line Control test marks :)

well through tis course learnt a few new friends.. mainly Lenz and Wei Chong from ACS(I)... at 1st when 1st saw Lenz was like damn familiar, then found out tt he was part of their Orienteering Team tt beat the 5 of us and snatch the Gold away from us... zzz.. and Wei Chong also, but i didnt find him tt familiar...the 3 of us were like unable to fly during 1st day, even if we do, we were like quite unstable... hmm, mayb Sir Alvin pressurize us to much...lol... but 2nd day, we gotta thnk our lucky stars tt we got Sir Chris! he was like damn gd! under him, everybody could fly completely, our confidence was sky-high! then we were even able to fly the Instructor way in a few mins of practice! ok mayb not the Unity Sec, well they juz came back from the PTI course. oh ya speaking of PTI course, JT said he saw IL and BA... but we didnt see Senior SP or Senior W! instead i saw SSG JK during lunchtime... mayb tt time only had the N Land Cadet trainee Officers... oh and i saw Darren Lim's bro! his face didnt change after 4 yrs! still the same liddat... then when all the Instructors from the 1st AIC knew which school was i from, they always ask me whether our CSM was Sgt Maj Ben and tt our ASM was Staff WK... dunnoe why either... and there was a SSG in our course... i tink his the USM of St Gab's.. and he was from the Pri side of our school... and he knew Staff WK and YL too...

ah got 2 badges from tis course, not bad not bad... i finally managed to fly properly! wee! and Sir Shamsul came too! he had a kind side after all! then juz now came home at 3.30p.m... then at 5p.m my mum still forced me to go swimming lesson... sad...

and 2 days later will b OAL camp... better cut my hair tmr, if not later GKY screw us...

2-6 Chalet!

tis few days nvr go on9 much, in fact almost nvr... so sad... juz came back from chalet and tmr nid to go off for aeromodelling camp again... sad, cant even spend a few days more with my friends... could only go on 1st day and leave at night... so morning went meet up with WK,JH,SJ,and CH. to buy some stuff, ok not some, but the remaining stuffs...which was a lot! then when we reach there, i had to carry 6 1.5 litres bottles to the chalet! 6 x 1.5=9! so 9 kg! woah.. bloody heavy + my shoe bag... then dunnoe why for some reason WK walked so fast... mayb coz he much more big-sized as compared to me. so carried the stuff to the chalet, quite exhausted already... juz ask jes lol... he was laughing away at me...

then at the chalet learnt to play a poker card game,Bridge... not bad... for a beginner lol... win quite alot... lol DO damn funny... he was also a beginner... but after i learnt it he then come... so i knew he was my partner, and we were already winning... left like 1 set then win liao... when i cheered, he scolded vulgarities...lol... then when i finally won it, he said "Shit!" lol then i shook his hands and told him we had won it and tt i was his partner... u shuld see his face... mouth agape... staring blankly at me, tio stunned... funny guy..

then evening go play volleyball... until finally arnd dinner... play mahjong.. thought it was gonna b damn diff from wad i learnt, but it wasnt! and i won quite a lot! lol.. like almost 7? out of like 20? not bad not bad... then Yuan lao shi came ard 8.45p.m... she kept saying we have grown much taller... have we? and surprisingly she doesnt noe how to play mahjong. she tinks its 谋财害命，慢性自杀. lol then DL said smt damn funny... like it can help amnesia or 老人痴呆症... then he even say tt ppl old liao, not much time and life left... lol damn funny... next moment he realized tt he had spoken smth offensive and immediately apologized... haiz then finally like 9.30p.m, went home with DN... it was quite sad to leave the chalet( we werent the 1st, BT was much earlier, ok 1 hr earlier..) ppl bade gdbye to us... and YF was damn funny... we had walked out from the chalet then he shout my name. and obviously i replied "What?" and he shout bye bye... lol damn funny... like a kid bidding gd bye to a great friend, with the prospect of nvr seeing him again. haiz but it was damn sad to leave... and came home at arnd 10.45p.m juz now.

well the success of the chalet was all due to the credit of WK,JH,MT,SJ,DC and XK. especially WK and JH... hmm.... i tink WK did alot for our class, if he werent in our class, i seriously doubt whether we could be able to do some things... and do a job as gd as he had done for us. thxs alot! and of course the others too!

and tmr got aero course liao... not bringing hp with me... so bear with me if i dun reply ur smses over the next 3 days. and its almost 12 now! arghh.. still haven packed finished yet... although its almost done... but still, *faints*... bb..

CIP at bishan park

lol was slightly freaked out at 1st when i reached the venue stated... there was nobody! well not our fault, the details tt she give was too vague (cant blame her, she is busy preparing their wedding haha)... but little did we expect tt she wun turn up for the CIP...zzz.... but luckily i managed to find the correct place in the end...

well basically the CIP is abt taking the walk with the elderly and to interact with them.. but we didnt do, much interaction lol... but we juz answed queries made by them... they damn curious abt our school sia. so the walk, the few of us juz pretty much keep talking... we mainly juz talked abt next yr... our classes... as next yr gonna b very cham again... well next yr will b more towards the academic side than CCA... tis yr was more on CCA... though its the streaming yr. coz we heard tt in sec 3, majority of the student population will fail or flunk a few subjects... tts damn scary... i havent fail 1 b4, and i dun plan to break tt record any time sooner, or better still maintain tt record all the way... and it will b a difficult 1... sigh...

damn it.. i ve got so little CIP hrs... others got so much more... so no choice tmr muz go CIP...

well today got the aeromodelling pre-course again... and today it juz sucked... the whole aero centre like filled with glue.. got the stench of it.. then today also keep using glue and epoxy... zzz our tail wing simply couldnt stick to the plane.... dunnoe why also... stick liao then come out again.. then juz now came back home head damn dizzy.. which i suspect is under the effect of sniffing too much glue... zzz.. even some of the ppl there looked like glue-sniffers lol... now still a bit dizzy.. but at least much better than the time when i juz came home ah.. feel as though the whole world was spinning...

then tis thursday camp ler... alot of ppl say they dunnoe how to fly.. which is a gd sign as i myself also dun really noe... had only like flown 5 times? and all under guidance of Mr Yip. then the Instructors say tt if we really dunnoe how to fly at all will send us home... sounds scary.. but i doubt they mean it... coz if they really do so, i tink they mayb have to send almost the 30 of us home! :(

and by this time the PDS AI course might have ended or ending liao... wonder did they get AI... TH shuld probably get AI, since the HCI ppl also recognise his zainess... but i hope YL will get it too, then we would have 2 AIs!

stoning time for me haha... well at 1st did the stickers thingy... but until arnd 3 no more stickers, so DC and I juz practically stoned down there talking mainly abt rubbish... we keep teasing him abt smt... haha.. dont ask wad... and GYH likes to show others tt his zainess lol... always zi kua... but then at some pnt of time will always let slip some kind of mistake in his sentences...

then at 5 at some debrief by Mr JT. well, by the looks of it, he seems, i repeat "seems" as though he will b teaching our class next yr... but mayb my assumption might b wrong, but i dunnoe.. well he hinted tt he would b taking the sports class and another class... then he keep asking arnd to confirm who in my class..

omg... the new no.3 uniform is giving me a torrid time... the cloth is damn hard and thick... pinning on the badges is like torturing me lol... and LWJ still say very gud coz no nid starch as collar very hard liao... but even forcing the pin to go through the cloth also nid so much strength.. well in a sense, the old 1 is much better... ah well... currently only half done lol...

and my ears are hurting now... lol my sis and mom juz had a shouting match lol... JT and I were like stoning at 1st at the training centre... seemed as though we were totally forgotten... juz becoz there is no space in the room and tt we have already built the foundations of ours... nvm.. after the pre-course session saw Senior SP and W... thought mayb SSG JK was there too... but didnt see him.

and i juz realised smth... there r not only gonna b 5 sec 2 CMCs in my future class.. its gonna be 7... amazing isnt it? and i can see tt all 6 of them(excluding me) are all quite enthu in CMC.. and quite a majority of them wants to b exco... haha lets see which 2 of them will end up as the chairmen... and quite a no. of my gd friends in 3-6... sad case...and when i mean a few, its double digit...

went back to school to see results and immediately saw XJ who sprinted towards me (wildly and crazily) asking me why we not same class...lol... i thought me,him, JT,DL, XK and ZH all will be same class as we chose same combo and had marks tt were quite close..(ok tis point only applies to me JT,DL and ZH) but it wasnt to be... then i saw tt there were 5 chairmen in same class as me too.. (gud tt means i surely wun b 1) and DL was proven correct.. there are gonna b 4 classes of trip science... and then dunno why the whole level also gonna have a new extra class... increased to 3-10...

then throughout the 2 hrs waited for ppl to give money... and watched the N Land parade.

well i guess there is only 1 assignment for holiday.. and tt is the Commonwealth essay.. and 1 of the topics is abt the beautiful game! wow describe abt it and why izzit getting more popular? hmm i tink gonna do tis... but i seriously doubt whether i can do a gd job on it like the journalists of the various newspapers... especially reuters...

well i guess i will be able to squeeze in some notes abt my favourite clubs and the time when i started watching football... but i am deprived of it now... didnt subscribe to starhub... sry! i too poor u noe... so the last time i ackually watch 1 was like 5 mths ago... Euro 08... sad case... juz wish it would rewind back to the late 90s... when there was live football telecasted from England... and i still rmbed the programme's name: "The Big Match"! lol the name sounds too simple and weird... it would always show the match of the week.. normally the rivalries... ah i missed it so much...nvm..

Aeromodelling 1st Pre-course

finally... i gotta wash my no.4 pants.... i thought yesterday the aeromodelling might nid it, so brought it along with me....

so yesterday when reached HQ, saw a lot of CLTs... dunnoe wads going on... at 1st thought we wore the wrong attire... but later saw their rank, so cant b... i thought mayb some kind of briefing for the CLTs-to-be as i heard the 56th CLT is coming soon... but they were already CLTs!

then morning was the same lecture tt our NCOs went through wif us during Leadership Camp... Principles of Flight... but the Sir went on to elaborate alot on it... made sure we understand the concepts quite well...

then later on went to the aeromodelling training centre to build a plane... got the news tt Capt Shamsul will not b here as he had gone to serve his NS juz recently... heard tt RY? lol he didnt really like Capt Shamsul...

and we were released at 12!!! the schedule tt Sgt BY gave me said it would b at 4.... guess the schedule was really cocked up... saw so many mistakes on it....

Final Day of HCI Basic PDS Course

well i finally got to know a few friends.after the test tt is, wad use is tt? lol... got 2 MSGs.. juz tt they havent get their rank yet, so they are Staffs... the CSM and ASM of Yuhua... i couldnt believe it at 1st... lol.. their PDS is so so la.. but they say they perform for the school b4... yet they dun really noe all the basic 19 drills? weird..mayb they do freestyle..also then there was the other 2 from Chung Cheng... lol jokers... they noe only rotation and vincent toss of the advanced drills... so weird, its like noeing the hardest 1s 1st... they say they learn from watching videos...lol in fact he said their school all learn from watching videos... but their drills are still quite zai.. but they call their Rotation Arm as Pot Spin? sounds weird. so got their hp no.

then when we did the practical test in front of the sirs, we were quite ok.. but i screwed up abit of slapping arm... almost did the tapping instead of the wave... (to into NDP performance) the theory test was ok too, except mayb for the naming of ppl from other schools part... TH wrote SSG JK... i didnt noe we could write the name of the instructors...

oh ya, and today we "learnt" Marine Salute. very different from ours.

well is the last day tt i see HCI.. will i ever see it again? doubt so.

2nd day...

went through "new" drills... slapping arm different from ours. from wad they say... the slapping arm has juz been modified... so yea... it doesnt require u to slap the rifle now...u juz nid to pretend to do so... going by swiftly and really close. and momo arm also slightly diff from ours. then i also realized why my dragontoss always cant seem to do the jerking well enuf during the recovery... ok or rather, is the AI from HCI who noticed it. so me and TH corrected alot of our drills quite a bit..although Th wanted to stick to the old 1s as much as possible... as he already as achieved zai status liao mah! why change so much of it when u r already so gd? ok pipa and mortar arm i also managed to improve on them... i used to use my elbow to the rifles... and Sgt JT also said it was damn ugly... ok coz we were taught tt way previously as using elbows assist in the executing part. but not anymore! i slap it now! lol...

and i notice how Seniors SP and J, and also Staff WK are quite well known among other schools. 1 of the AIs said he knew them, and previously during the PDS selection test, another AI also claimed he knew them... he was puzzled tt we came for the course since we already noe the drills, well we were a bit puzzled at the start too... but i finally understand why Staff WK thought it would enhance our knowledge of PDS. well tmr will b the last day of the course, but not much rest for me either... straight away after tmr have aeromodelling... lol not much like a holiday isnt it?

1st day of Hwa Chong Basic 19 Drills Course

well basically, we r learning the same old drills again... but certain drills the AIs at Hwa Chong taught them differently and execute it differently too... i gotta say tis... those schools tt are damn zai in PDS, they seem to b going towards juz the precise part....not much of gracefulness u might say, tt we seemed to emphasize much more... but mayb tts why thier PDS seemed better than us. juz like Deyi Sec... they amazed us with their coordination but well, the way they do it, seem like they were lifeless creatures... zombie-liked... but i gotta agree with 1 thing tt the HCI Sirs said, juz do it sharply and b precise... well we r doing our drills sharply too... but mayb we cared too much abt gracefulness..

when u 1st see how the HCI execute it, it seems abit too simple... but mayb simple is the key to performing well...there isnt much fancy stuff tt i expected... i thought mayb their wave will be a bit like ours, but it was like totally different!

but they way they taught, i understood why i ve been confused over certain drills then end up confused in everything... well although TH felt it was quite a waste of his time (as he didnt really like how the HCIs execute it differently from us), but i beg to differ.. the 1st part of Sungfoo tt they thought, i felt it was quite cool. but the 2nd wave wasnt as exciting as ours. ours is like a totally exaggerated version, but its quite nice. and when every single time we go back to slope arm, we were taught to flick our hand b4 cutting it outwards. well theirs is simply put ur hand completely straight, juz parallel to the floor.. dunnoe why i felt tt things were abit clearer when i dun flick my hands... i used to b unable to catch up timing in the end, so i always end up rushing. But i am still flicking my hands at times, coz its already etch in my mind! its how i have always been doing PDS! ok mayb i might change to the HCI style but provided i manage to clear the "flicking" part off my mind.

and i felt the Sirs did a very gd job in teaching us too.. we learnt quite quickly but i tink tis is due to the fact tt they have 5 AIs teaching us..

lol when we 1st walked into the school, my impression was damn big... very impressed but very lost also...ack.. lucky we spotted 1 of the sirs, or we might nvr have assembled in the right area! when we reach there, the HCI cadets were like showing off... pump 150 in front of us... ok beside us... but we in diam position how to see or peek at their real power? but they could ask for permission to adjust while pumping? wad for?juz pump lar, why nid ask permission adjust? and every time its 20 sec adjust... i dunnoe why... they juz hold for another 20 secs in pumping position, isnt tt worse? but some of their traditions quite cool also... but in a way, it make them seemed like our school's NPCC... well mayb even more disciplined... but also got some weird traditions.. like the part when u draw rifles... the 1st guy gotta stand out and holler at their store greeting the highest ranked person in the room. then everybody have to shout out their rank and name 1 by 1... and then the guy says "permission to draw out Mark IV rifles." woah its juz dummy rifles, why say until Mark IV? and their store is damn big as compared to ours! and they even have a bunk for their cadets to change in and put their stuff! tts incredible! of all their UGs, the NCC is like damn priviledged..

during the training, all their cadets seem so disciplined and respected thier seniors a lot.. but after training it seemed to b a completely diff story.. they seemed too friendly with their seniors... dunnoe mayb its juz me who tink tis way...

oh and finally saw a damn zai AI in full action... woo damn hot! he did rotation arm, then jumbo then did a rising sun so fast tt it was in a blur! then he repeat tis sequence like 4 times...

sad case... but congrats to TH and YL! they passed it and will b going for the AI course! so tt might hopefully make it 2 AI for our part! lol got 1 school super coordinated but look like zombies... but to get tt coordinated, i muz say i m impressed... so when going home tt time met a few more ncc land de... 6-8 bah... and they were holidng red,orange and white PT Kit... tt only means 1 thing... Hwa Chong! lol the zai kias came when we go... ah well... LWJ seemed damn demoralised, devastated and saddened... well i guess he had very high hopes and wanted to get AI very badly... nvm! cheer up dude! it aint the end of the world!

yesterday went to HQ to change no.3 uniform, no.4 pants and get a new cap badge... they went through thick and thin with me over the past 2 yrs and have finally break down... sad... (lol i make them sound like machinery...) ok LWJ make me wait damn long but nvm, coz he taught me a damn short way to going to HQ! instead of looping here and there, spending damn long time to reach there... thxs alot! but he pangseh me after tt... he went home... oh wait... is i pangseh him 1st as my bus came 1st...

ok went back to school... and the 1st thing i heard was the choir... and i saw something damn distinct! lol how can anybody miss the sight of it? its so big! lol(shuld b he... infer)

so went to GO to check results... shocking our class got 23 ppl going triple science! wheee tts alot! oh and some ppl seemed to have change their subj combo and appealed... the whole lvl like only have 26 ppl going combined science... got 2 from n air... so sad and shocking... i thought all the n air from our lvl all hardcore muggers... juz look at those from 2-3.... the!@!@#$#% haha jkjk... their results are super zai... 2-3 and 2-5 are the only classes with nobody going to combined science... too zai liao.... and from wad i heard from DL, there are gonna b 4 classes of triple science for our lvl next yr... wow tts alot... mayb its the most in our school's history!

well its the classes tt i've been through for the past 2 yrs if u have not notice...oh cant really say 2 yrs can i? to b precise, 1 and 5/6 yrs.... yes DNKY, u can stop pestering me now right? keep coming here but not even tagging but always pester me to doing tis.... ah well, its all over... the results of our stream is out by today... and JH had gone to see the board and informed the few of us... a few of us thought tt the release of the results were on tmr... nvm... well i will miss the whole class... ok mayb not... but majority of it since there will always b some bad eggs in everything... sad case isnt it?

1. Band man! ok tt sounds wrong haha... Class secretary... abit of alien blood if u ask me....coz he can solo group proj, study, memorise a whole chunk of info, do well in 3rd lang(german) and do all tt stuff for Band...and also do freakingly well for all studies! Simply amazing and marvellous!

2. The Joker! but he aint a villian! well his is kind at heart but childish at times... but his english and biology knowledge can own us upside down! he is from a family of doctors! a fun and talkative person to b with!

3. Fibre! lol my training mate in doing pull-ups... every week without fail we would go down to the chin-up bar during recess to pratise... even though he has improve he say he hasn't... A humble and modest guy. One of my best buddies.

4. QM! he was 1 of the 4 QMs of the leadership camp... he is reliable and trusworthy... u can count on him to help or assist u!

5. bleah! ok juz jk... well tis is the person who is constantly pestering me for tis post! so i shall write abit longer abt him than the rest. when facing tis guy... i will always unknowningly turn on my sarcastic side... sry... well he was my partner seating bside me in class for the last 2 terms... caused me to deteriorate in my studies slightly... while i influence him to improve... how unfair can the world get? same goes to 19 doing the same to 3.... luckily we did well enuf for term 1 and 2 to cover us up... if not, we r screwed!

Part B Leadership Camp 2008

tis camp was great! we learnt loads of things, qualities and skills... all abt planes, GSK,First Aid. How to b a leader, try to make the best decision in a situation, sentry duty! Most of us came into tis camp tinking tt it would b a damn hiong camp... but we were proven wrong as the NCOs stayed true to their word of not wanting to waste our or their time doing unnecessary and excessive pumpings or other punishments, but instead making full use of the time to learn as much as possible.. but of course, there were still times where we pumped alot, especially during the 2nd day's morning... but there were also a few blips and bad things happening (there is nth perfect on earth, but we juz have to minimize the bad ones as much as possible), with some unlucky things happened to me...my beret's Cap Badge finally failed me and broke... lucky i discovered a side of it breaking apart b4 it fell to the floor... and the discovery of a small hole in my no.4 which increased in size at the end of the camp... guessed i gotta buy a new cap badge and a new no.4 pants... the hole is quite big now!

25th Oct (1st day)

we fall in at the track arnd 7.30am and were split up into 5 teams... i was in team 3, which consisted of LWJ, KH, WS, and BA.. i tink we r the group with the least no. of ppl... only 5....we named ourselves Fast and Furious...and the Senior Spec in charged of us was Staff WK with the 2IC being Sgt JT... and Staff YH's team named themselves Better than U... so whenever they tell anyone their group name, they say"We are Better than U.."it was an interesting name :) then after tt i was appointed OIC and JC was 2IC... and the 2 KH, DC and CH were appointed as the QMs for the camp, with our team's KH being the QM of the QMs! so we went back to our bunk and clean it, try our best to standardize everything... but we still missed out a few things... which the NCOs spotted... then after tt had lessons until lunch... Air Syllabus, GSK(General Specialist Knowledge) and First Aid... Air Syllabus had some components which were quite difficult to understand... so were quite panicky abt it as we were gonna take a few tests tt were based on the lessons...XK came juz after the lessons much to RY's delight... so at 1.30pm was field cooking... after which something bad happened... quite a no. didnt bother abt the mess they created... was pissed off... some of them even promised to clean up...but didnt...

then we put back our things and got to class 1-3 again (our LT for the camp) for lessons on planning and organizing camps and trainings, back-up plans and important rules...then we were given abit of time to start planning and doing the assigned task to us.. then at arnd 3 something we went to the track for the IFC mutual lessons..by this time, JC was appointed OIC, with TH being the 2IC..then i asked for permission to go toilet, Sgt YC told me not to cry in the toilet as JC replaced me as OIC... lol... consisted of 5 stations, with the sentry duty station being the most interesting. got Sgt BS! we are always impressed with the way in which he teach us something... it always manage to attract our attention and he didnt drift way off the topic... so at arnd 5 + when we finished IFCs...and then RC came! one of my best buddy! we had a short TCS and then we were given time to continue our proj and fold back our sleeves... then at arnd 7 we went to canteen to have our dinner... then we went back to our bunks to continue with our proj... and was given another new task... each team was to come up with a skit for the cadets night... well we were doing fine until an unpleasant thing happened.. then we went for our supper at 10 then we got to bath and it was lights out at 12...and we owed 1550 by the end of 1st day.... we thought got hell night, but nth happened...phew... but some of the NCOs came up to our bunks to steal our dummy rifles.... and i was 1 of the victims...sad case... i placed mine in the sleeping bag... hiding it like i did during annual camp... but still tio stolen... ws said coz could see abit of the shape of it...haiz...ws said he managed to wake up juz in time to see Sgt RX and Sgt GL to shine their torchlights at my face... imagine tt... i didnt even notice and wake up.... i slept too soundly for my own good...so when i wake up only to ws telling me my rifle got stolen... imagine tt... a disastrous news to start off the 2nd day...sad case... was depressed abt it...

26th Oct (2nd day)

changed into half 4 and fall in at track at 6.30 am....11 of us out of 27 lost our rifle...sad case... then LWJ conducted PT which was tiring but still manageable...did pull-ups to clear the 1550..then we did circuit but failed to meet the time limit of 15 mins... so we pumped 50...then we ran to the track to fall in but failed to meet the time limit and pumped another 50... then we gone up the bunk and took our utensils and fail to meet the 5 mins tt SGt WX gave us...so we pumped another 50... so in total we pumped 150 in such a short span of time....then we had footdrills mutual lessons and then we got to practise...tis took a long time as footdrills mutual was an activity tt needed alot of time... and tis would b to prepare us for spec course next yr...there are alot of things tt we need to rmb for our mutual and the sequence of it.... much more than CnC...so at arnd 11.. we had to go to the LT for a lecture by Sir QX... and by tis time, TH took over as OIC with LWJ being 2IC....the lecture by Sir was an interesting an enriching 1.... even though there are risks in everything tt we do, we have to analyse the situation and look for the risk lvl and if it is high, we shuld not do it... then Sir gave us another interesting situation...tis one was great...it really taught us loads of things and qualities tt we shuld keep in our mind...

after tis, we had field cooking once more which was not as disastrous as the 1st once as once bitten, twice shy, we dare not commit the same mistakes again...then we went to the LT once more to present our proj... i muz say everybody had done well for each of their tasks except for mayb the fun camp as they attempted to b too ambitious... but they did try their best oso...then at arnd 4 pm, we had a surprise activity for us, Laser Quest! wheeeee tis was extremely fun! it was pretty much like CS but in real life! we were split up into 4 groups, Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta...i was in Charlie group together with CWJ, JM,KS,DH,HQ and Sgt BS.. the 1st mission we did not plan anything so it was pretty much in a mess and i was facing off mainly with VG, my great friend and Sgt Maj.. and i believe i came out tops among the 3 of us...weee...then we emerged victorious with 18 frags to their 12 frags... so we went baack to the assemble area where Sir Goh told us our mistakes and the ways to improving...so after tt the whole part juz got smarter and the gameplay was getting even better! so the 2nd mission was to appoint a VIP which is the most important guy who could make all the difference in the match...the VIP has to touch the response box at the other base to gain 5 frags while a death to the VIP would mean 3 deaths to his grp... and the 4 VIPs are BA,JC,me and AM respectively for each group.. and i was the most successful! weee...we had a lot of teamwork for tis match...we deployed a 4-men attack and a 3 men defence... well starting they were too offensive so we were very defensive...all 7 off us were at our base... with me being well protected and hidden but JM and DH friendly fired me each.... and JC shot me another time... so i was left with 1 life b4 i die once... so we maintained tis and JC was gungho.. he made alot of attempts to reach our base but was killed mostly juz when he was reaching... i was hiding upstairs with my trusty Uzzy...then near the end of the game, i was struck one more time so i finally died once.... so tis was it... it was my turn to make the diff... i was revived and chiong to their base, outrunning a few of them who were running back to revive... and my guards were blocking me well enuf so i was shot thrice b4 i touched their box and was killed so i jogged back to b revived... and started my 2nd attck once again with the cover from the 4 men attck which had KS leading, DH and HQ... but HQ pretty much MIAed... and defended... so i chionged and outran them again doing james bond style and leaping up to their base with my left hand lifting me up the big step... and i touched their box 1 final time and the game ended.. it was great! we beat them with 40 frags and JC touched our box thrice which make it 25 frags for us while we they had 33 frags while i touched thier box twice to make it only 23 frags for them :) so we won by the narrowest of margin..only by 2 frags... with JC making 7 attempts and 3 successes... and i made 2 attempts succeeding in both... we had a great and thrilling time doing the Laser Quest and after tt we went back to our bunk and bathed to prepare for our dinner and Cadet's Night....By then, LWJ had took over as OIC, with VG as 2IC..

our Cadet's Night was a success... with interesting and lame skits to entertain all of us... and to top it off, BA reporting his everyday life and the interests and ppl in his life... but halfway through his talk we were diamed as we were getting noisy and pressurized B...oh ya b4 the cadets' night, the NCOs tried to kidnapped KR but luckily our QM,KH spotted them and reported it to the OIC, LWJ... so our QM saved the day or we would have been in deep trouble... so we learnt another important thing through tis also, which was to take notice of our fellow cadets presence and to ensure everybody's safety and presence.... then after tis we had sentry duty whereby we were given 3 jobs to choose: Sentry, guards or OP... i chose guard with RC and so we were the guards for 1st shift... nth much happened during our shift juz tt the sentries of our shift had succeeded! with only JM surviving! we r proud of u man! well when it was time for 2nd shift, RC rested while i continue to help RY and JCZY...as 3 guards are safer than 2... but JCZY was ganged by 5 NCOs... and so he and RY died and we surrendered... as i was of the 1st shift, i decided to take RY's place and go to POW with JCZY.... Sgt E said the POW is very gud... got 100 PLUS and biscuits... and we get to sleep... yea right... so when we got there...there was indeed 100 PLUS with plain water filled to its brim.... and in order to sleep, we have to do incline pull-ups on an exceptionally high incline pull-up bar! wonder where did the NCOs managed to find it... 20 pull-ups to earn ourselves 20 mins of sleep... so 1 pull-up for 1 min of sleep...it was very strict for the 1st 3hrs... 1am to 4am... but until 4am, we were dead and KOed so Staff YL was kind enuf to let us sleep... and at 5 am, we were allowed to go back to our bunk as the 3rd shift had done too badly and all of them were killed too fast.... so we were released with a choice of helping them.. so a few of us decided to help them while the rest go and sleep.. i went back to our bunk and lied on my sleeping bag and was fast asleep almost immediately...

27th Oct (3rd day)

we woke up and our QMs helped us prepare our breakfast and then after having our breakfast, we took a lot of tests tt were based on the Air Syllabus, GSK and FIrst Aid... well i tink the Air Syllabus one killed me... so after finishing all the numerous papers, we went back to clean up our bunk and pack up... then we return our rifles...and Staff gave us the certs for the courses and CIPs tt we went for and then we had a debrief before we were finally dismissed... well this is the last camp tt we had attended as cadets... and i believed tt all of us had learnt loads from Sir A and Sir QX, and also the NCOs. i would like to thnk them, Sir A and Sir QX, all the NCOs and lastly, Sir Goh, Sir Teo and Mdm...It was an interesting and enriching camp where we learnt to take up the roles of leaders and organise ourselves...

well, i juz wrote, oh no i mean typed 2334 words, not including tis sentence :) doubt anyone would read the whole thing..and this is my longest post! weee

b4 i forget.. gl to all the sec 4s seniors taking the o'lvls... very soon, it would b our turn..tinking abt all these makes me feel emo...

well.. here it is...time really does fly doesnt it? especially when u have gone through a hectic and action packed year... time seems to go so slowly in pri school...allowing us to enjoy every single thing for so long tt we do not know how to appreciate things and take things for granted.. now? we have gone through loads of things and matured quite alot liao ba... next yr sec 3... sounds quite big and impressive eh? rather it would only mean more work tt is also more difficult...

HCL? can we still take it? so many of us got B4 for our HCL... well the CL dept is really cocked up... none of them seemed to really know the standards required...some give us a glimmer of light,a ray of hope by saying getting a B would b enuf for us... but then others say a B3 would then be enuf to salvage a HCL position for us... well the whole lot of us got a stinking B4... and my class only has abt 6-9 ppl getting at least a B3 or above... so multiply tis no. by the no. of classes to get the approximate no... tt would b abt 50-60+ students taking HCl? tt seems to b a very small number as compared to the no. of students in our seniors' cohort taking HCL... tts depressing... and everything doesnt seem to b improving for me... either it remains the same or juz dropped... argh...

oh ya and i got saboed into a inter-hse sports competition once again... n1... always liddat... not like i want to join... but for some reason, other ppl always write my name down without my consent... we r gonna lose again... guarantee + chop... then it would b last training of the yr.. then the leadership camp...

past few days juz walking arnd to help YF collect money for class fund as he feel tt he doesnt have the "persuasive power" tt he claimed tt i have... now left $24 to collect... then he go organize his dream chalet liao... hopefully the school will give us back our homecoming money...

then my mind juz have a lot of things.... especially abt sec 3... its gonna be a hectic yr... far worse than tis yr... might even go into triple... so tt makes it even worse.. but at least gt a gd thing.. i doubt i will be in CMC... juz dun want... the ppl there r ok... especially those in my lvl... so its nth to do with my fellow chairmen... so IL, dun kachiao me pls.... or try to psycho me again... so there will only b a week b4 being a chairman is gone for me...

then there is the subj combination of humanities... tink i killed a lot of brain cells over the past few days tinking abt it... might be in the same class with XJ, JT, DL and ZH... but hopefully not with some others...

ok its damn packed... except 4 Dec.... and i am damn scared of aeromodelling instructor course... coz i dun really noe how to fly!!! only know how to fix it when it crashes... die ah... but hopefully wad AM said is true abt the course being not tt hiong as wad the requirements mentioned...

well...i have just withdrawn from perak...sad case...dun feel like toking abt it much... lwj had the same situation as me...but he managed to get his way due to wad he called"i dun care ah, i juz want to go" well...nth much to say...just tt i wish my replacement,KS would enjoy his time at perak...

today had music assessment...not bad la....when i was not there...fart fart sang by himself...then they said it was damn "nice"! then when i finally came...JK turned fart fart's mic to minimum volume, in the meantime turning mine almost to maximum as i could not sing too loud...later zou yin ah... then finish liao forgot to sing the final chorus...alter abit here and there and we were ok... got a B...not bad considering we nvr even practise b4...they said i was much better than fart fart.... i thought i was only so so...so they are saying tt his was horrible? dunnoe la...they then say until it was really very bad...was he really tt bad? he in choir leh... then Ms CBY said my face and voice like quite sian liddat...said if i was livelier, the group would have gotten an A...well sad case then...didnt get to see CL, shaver, cow and JL perform....had to go liao...but i tink they shuld get quite high la...

well...the results were disappointing... but we were at least hoping tt JC and AM would sneak in and steal a 3rd place position as they had gotten full marks and a great timing...but it was not to b...if i list out all the injustice tt we got through the competition, it would b too long...so i wouldnt elaborate much.... but overall we learnt lots from tis competition...but i seriously doubt whether we can apply it for the next aero...as all the mistakes we commited were not due to our fault, but somebody's else...or rather a group off ppl... nvrtheless... we would b hoping to do better 4 national com... especially JC...since he had been training so hard...and he is damn gd in flying the plane!

well today had english speech...its our 1st time attempting at tis component and being judged by a teacher...well and i used to tink wad ivan yak was doing in a classroom with only a teacher a few tables away...my initial thought was tt he was presenting some ideas regarding the school to the teacher...lol... well today was the 1st from my group to be tested.. tink i fared fairly well...might have a chance at getting at least 30 i tink...THQ said his impromptu qn was screwed up....and he did horrendously terrible for it...no idea..but he said the 2nd of the 2 qns asked goes like tis:

mdm J: Do you have any family members that was a criminal previously?
THQ: no....
mdm J: thank you...you may go...

and YXJ's was also quite cham...he finally finshed preparing his cards but only when mrs TT was abt to arrive liao...i did a trial run with him...and he ended up finishing his speech at 4.17mins...which was 1 min more than the time given...well he might have gotten off scott-free as mrs tt didnt time anybody..i tink...as she didnt do so for me...

well enuf of speech...now to training...learnt a number of advanced arm drills....wonder if there are much more...well quite interesting i have to say...gotta form a U-shape b4 staff YH taught us the drills... but the command for executing us into forming a U-shape was very chim and long... and we gotta know it for mutuals...which mean killing a few more brain cells again...looking back at the time when we racked our brains to learn PDS and CnC...it doesnt look too difficult as we had thought initially when we 1st learnt...but we didnt learn it in a few days or weeks..we learnt it in arnd 3-4 months... so judging from tis..my guess is tt we would also nid a few months to get the grasp of mutual...which sounds very chim...well PT was exciting...ran 10 rnds on the track with the rifle...woah...for the 1st 6 0r 7 rnds, we gotta run with the rifle at least at the height of our head..so rather hiong...then after tt...like play a game with the NCOs...a challenge to us to be able to keep our rifles throughout the whole of PT....

seriously gotta admit i quite suck when i run with the company of a heavy object as shown during tis training and OT...when we had to carry 2 1.5 litres bottles filled to the brim with water...well we have gotten over another important chapter in sec 2...english speech...and we can finally focus back on the basic foundation, compre and summary, now..and also narrative essay and unseen poetry...well tis yr had certainly gone by very fast....with all the ups and downs...and we r nearing the final league...presss on! its only a few weeks more...and we would find tt our work has been worthwhile...if u didnt even try..u will nvr know ur potential...and thus will regret not trying...dun always be so pessimistic..though i tend to be one at times as well....

its the final league of the yr! the final countdown...19 more days to our End-of-year examinations... approximately 6 more weeks to o levels... gd luck to all.... the friends out there... and the seniors who had guided us through the past 2 yrs... (:

whee today got pe! and its like almost one of the best session i had eve had... it was damn funny also! but its not at all amusing in the end...starting my team play quite shitty lol... but it was damn fun.... with LMY arnd...and his funny "tricks"...hehe...well as the match slowly goes on, we gain momentum and bang in goals and goals... from me! mainly assisted by EK...he scored 1 himself, while i scored a hat-trick...final score: 4-1...whee! the 3 goals are kinda different from each other... 1st was a one-on-one situation which i normally able to convert...2nd was a mistake goal-kik by their goalie...cleared to me... since he is out of position..juz shoot...weee...and back into the net it went! it was quite a distance away...abt 25-30m bah...the last was a nice one...nice passing and set-up leaving me to going clear and juz tap it in as FL, also known as bert bert rushed out... whee!

then had lessons...not bad...but still got some homework...which add up together with today's quite alot....and of all things...i lost both my geog books...sad case...and the exercises mr Pn told us to do!!! i had almost completed them all somemore! eee...

things are breaking apart or breaking down... things tt has been with me for quite a period of time...gone through quite a no. of memorable events.. haiz...my specs! it broke into half! argh.... ok not exactly halves... it broke at the part near the screw or rather, junction... so there goes my specs... and of all things, it broke when i took it off during the night as i wanted to go sleep liao... tio shocked man... suddenly juz drop off... so got a new pair of specs... looks kinda weird on me... seems to fanciful... but no choice... it seems to b the simplest model that they have.... others were even more scarier!!! got holes here and there, and all kinds of stripes and logoes...

then my handphone.. its battery seem to b getting faulty liao... cant even last a day anymore... and i didnt do much with my hp??? at most a few smses like 5-10? like tt also use up so much batt? nah dun tink so.. so basically gotta charge it almost everyday... troublesome... in the past... i could have charge it at most every weekend only... not everyday... its record was lasting through 22 days! b4 it said battery low.. then i charged it.. nvr even let it go flat... now? it cant even wait for me to charge it... it goes flat b4 i take out my charger.... sad case... 1 year and a half liao.....almost gonna be 2 yrs...

and dun tink i will be posting much more for tis 2 months... mayb one or two post at most... and dun tink i will b checking much.. mayb after exams ba...till then..tata

as the holidays go by..i gradually remember and recall tt there is much more hw than i had thought of at 1st... and my pace of doing hw is damn slow... have been doing chinese for 2 days... almost 3 liao... oh and i finished some tuition ones...

then juz finished watching forbidden kingdom... lol bloody lagger.. although it is not tt bad...neither iizit tt gud.. i felt tt it was rather weird... almost the whole cast were chinese and are from china (in a sense) xcept for tt american...jason tripitikas?(sry if i spelled ur name incorrectly, no offense) yet they filmed almost the whole movie in english... Wads Tis?!! lol copy lwj...hehe.. well the guy acting as jason seemed to b trying veli hard to b funny.. and he failed quite miserably..in my mind (coz mayb there r some crazy baboons out there guffawing like sh1t...)

wow the drills during training was tough... saw stars for the 1st time during drills! argh!!! on the verge of fainting after pumping so much... recover from pumping position and i swayed sideways... hmm dunnoe izzit becoz i took off my specs anot... and therefore become damn blur and affect my mind... well i thought taking off the specs will ease the pain on the area of my nose between the eyes... it was hurting alot there.. felt quite sick on tt day oso.. sad case... lucky nvr fall out... do pt tt time got so many phlegm... kept coughing like ah pek liddat... haiz...the flu bug is here once again! my claz got so many down with flu... and today my nose the mucus flow like running tap at full blast liddat...sad case..

and ya... i tink the sec 2s almost like whole lvl not going cmc camp.. oh well we r tired of such camps... nid to pay $15 somemore sia...i tink at most mayb like 3 person go nia... BA? TT? CS? hmm...waste of time and the holidays only 7 days... not alot.. yet they still want to take away 2 days.. u want plan camp u shuld juz plan it after exams la... tt time got so much much freedom and space.. why plan it juz b4 exams? and wads the purpose of the camp anyway? learn more skills? instill discipline? more like wasting time. i dun see how such camps will be bonding session... u want to bond also bond after exam la.. and i dun see how such camps will help us to bond... juz wasting $15 and wasting time... 谋财害命，慢性自杀。

sad case... 16 glorious days have juz flew past so quickly like the wind... gone with the wind.... personally i felt this games have been especially short as compared to the Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004. oh well mayb i was juz too busy jumping and monkeying arnd during those times. u cant blame me... after all, i was juz an ignorant kid tt time... so tis is the 1st official games tt i have followed so closely... and i believe it to be the best among the next few games to come... tis time rnd has juz been too fantastic and marvellous... to the extend tt i felt tt it ended too fast... as i couldnt get enuf of it... couldnt get enuf of Usain Bolt and his antics, couldnt get enuf of Michael Phelps and his last gasp victories, couldnt get enuf of Lionel Messi and his dancing arnd wif the ball, couldnt get enuf of the Brazilian's and Americans' volleyball team, both men and women... from wad i remembered of 2004, wasnt it at least 22 days? hmm... well throughout this 16 amazing days, i couldnt get rid of the names, Usain Bolt, Michael Phelps, Ian Thorpe, Kobe Bryant, Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Liu Xiang, Asafa Powell, Tyson Gay, Ronaldinho, and etc etc... it was spectacular.... but the sad thing is tt i have to watch the games with much fear.....ENd of Year Exams are coming... homeworks tt the teachers piled on us... we were constantly watching the games and discussing wad we hadnt completed at the same time....

from tis we can see 1 thing, most of the teachers dun watch olympics... k mayb its the case for our class only... especially mdm E.I.... she dunnoe who is Asafa Powell!!! omg...and she has been bombarding us with speech writing and argumentative essay...sad case... still got speech on the topics we had chosen... she gone through so much with the class when we went for Orienteering Com.... both DO and i come back totally blur liao... sad man...and DN didnt even explain properly abt the 2nd draft...humph... 4 more days to holidays... izzit even holiday? 5 more weeks to End-of-Year examinations... oops starting to become so calculating like Mr J.T... oh well if only i had brains like his... then maths no prob liao lor...haiz...

Orienteering Competition 2008

well... we won a silver medal...2nd in our category... sad case... lost to ACS(I)... i tink our timing is the best among all competitors... none of them got a 20 something mins timing so our timing shuld b the best liao ba... but theory-wise... we got owned by ACS(I)...tts wad we tink...vg was very gud in leading us to all our checkpoints... but he keep doubting himself... but all of us managed to assure and convince him tt he got it all correct... well we didnt noe anything abt mils.. so definitely got 2 qns wrong...

then yesterday had training again... how lame can our class get? they dunnoe anything then keep talking rubbish... keep saying DO forgot to bring his map so got lost in the HQ and thus was absent... then even say we won a silver coz we took the girls' route...yea right....i wonder how they managed to get such ideas... well today's training was Sir A's last one with us...he actually had a kind and friendly side! lol... we were rather surprised and amazed... coz we were normally scolded severely by sir whenever he came down for training..but all his advice and scoldings all only serve to improve us... so we respected sir alot... but we were rather afraid and scared of him... he juz had tt aura and towering figure... i guess tts why we respect him so much...

need i say more? tis guy is simply gay, 21 yrs old only...9.68... though the newspapers are saying its 9.69... he still slow down to look at the camera and slaps his chest in joy... at the last few metres he seem to be just hopping... not running forward... but juz hopping forward... abit insulting to the other sprinters.. but u cant blame him... coz his gay! speaking of gay where was tyson gay? oh ya he could not even get pass the semis... sad case... and asafa powell was juz to slow... well they are not consistent... they cant blame anyone...

mikey is another alien.... as in michael phelps... 8 olympic golds in beijing...and he is only 23... provided tt he doesnt retire tt early like ian thorpe.. he could race through his way...cutting through the water at the age of 31 and still banging in the golds... then i tink he would already get 26 gold liao... if he wins at least 6 each in the future for 2012 at london and 6 for another in 2016... 26 leh... tts 17 more than the 2nd, mark spitz...

orienteering

before orienteering, i went to toilet to do big business sia.. ran 14 rnds! wohoo! lol... not too bad... but there were times where i had a tiny feeling tt mayb i shuld fall out... as they were slowly speeding up and i was slowly unable to catch up with them. but they notice and slow down abit for me. thxs alot guys (: well we pass the 5 km run... under 30 mins... all of us felt a great sense of achievement.. but the real thing is next week. lets keep our heads down and work towards our best. its scary tt the competition is so near. and DL mentioned tt ncc land has juz started their very first official training. wow ncc land muz be brimming with confidence to start so late. TDH's pair of legs quite cham sia.. after training almost both legs fulls of blisters tt were still "lau zuing" the sight was quite horrible..

anyway, the chinese oral is next wed? heard from the other classes tt it was brought forward from sat.. tmr still got a small little test on matrices? we had juz learnt the very basics of it for a day only!!! everything is moving very fast. and we r only sec 2. imagine the sec 4s' life. izzit only cat high? or the whole of singapore? hmmm
